About Me

Hi! My name is Danielle, and I'm the founder and owner of Rush Brook Studio! Everything in my shop is made entirely by hand in my Rhode Island studio. Each piece is completely unique and designed in a way that enhances the natural beauty of the stone. I create wearable works of art through the craft of wire-wrapping, which is setting stones and other materials in wire without the use of heat or glue, meaning it is a “cold connection” that holds the material through tension and the wire shape. I use solid sterling silver (.925), 14k goldfill, or copper wire and precious and semi-precious gemstones. I also source vintage and antique material that I “upcycle” and give a second life, such as handcarved shell, porcelain, stone, or coral cameos and vintage glass. I only use the highest-quality materials on the market and what I don’t upcycle I source from local small businesses and lapidary artists in Rhode Island or surrounding states.
I have a style however no two pieces are ever the same, meaning my clients receive an item that will never be replicated again. I also craft rings using pearls and gemstones, dangle earrings that are my pendants miniaturized to be worn in the ear, stud earrings, and bracelets, all of which are wire-wrapped. I strive to let the beauty of Nature be the star of every piece I create, letting the stone or material I have set in wire catch and mesmerize the eye of the viewer and bring joy to the wearer.
I sell in-person at markets and art festivals across Rhode Island and New England, and I love meeting my customers! Check out my upcoming events list to know where I'll be next, and be sure to sign up for my newsletter where I'll be out sending exclusive updates and offers!
