14k Goldfilled Wire-Wrapped Ethiopian Opal Pendant

I have wrapped this gorgeous natural Ethiopian opal stone in 14k goldfilled wire! This stunning stone is a really special piece and one-of-a-kind. This piece would look amazing on anyone, whether worn alone or as part of a larger neck mess look! It is perfect for the collector of unique stones and gold lover, or for someone with an October birthday, as opal is the birthstone for that month! This Ethiopian opal has a very jelly, yellowish color that really brings out the vivid flashes of red and orange inside. It has a wonderful spectrum of colors, going from green to red to yellow and blue/purple!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Over time, gold-fill wire may show some wear slight wear depending on how you care for it. Gold-filled wire is a tube of gold that has been filled with a base metal, (generally pure jeweler's brass), and the two are securely bonded together with heat and pressure. Each purchase from my shop comes with a complimentary yellow polishing cloth, which you may use at any time to polish your piece. (The cloth will still work even as it gets darker; do not wash the polishing cloth.) When polishing, try to avoid the stone so as not to scratch it. Please do not wear in the shower or pool.

Please do not manipulate the wire of this pendant or push on the stone as this may cause wear over time and affect the integrity of the wire-wrap.
